Q: Tell us a little about yourself: What initially drew you into the skincare world, and why did you choose to pursue a career as an esthetician?

Skincare came into my life serendipitously. During the uncertainty of 2020, I decided to enroll in esthetics school. It was a decision made on a whim, but it quickly became a passion. Just a few weeks into my classes, I was utterly enthralled by the science and art of skincare. Growing up with rosacea, redness, and dry, flaky skin, I often felt insecure about my appearance. 

Becoming an esthetician allowed me to heal my skin and ignited a drive to help others overcome their skincare challenges. I take great pride in my work, ensuring I provide exceptional care to each client during treatments and through personalized at-home skincare regimens.

Q: What do you love about the industry?

What I love most about the skincare industry is the opportunity to educate my clients. Teaching them how to use their homecare products effectively is crucial for achieving optimal and timely results. Each client’s skin is unique, and understanding these individual needs is key to their success. I am passionate about educating my clients so they can reach their skincare goals and feel confident in their skin.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your job?

My company offers a sanctuary where clients receive top-of-the-line treatments and access to high-quality homecare products designed for lasting results. Seeing my clients leave with healthier, glowing skin and renewed confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Q: What would you tell someone considering carrying the TiZO line in their office or practice?

I highly recommend incorporating TiZO into your practice. It is essential to offer a whole variety of sunscreens, as sunscreen is not a one-size-fits-all product.
