“C” the Difference with TiZO Advanced Vitamin C + E Serum!

You’re serious about skin care, so you know that Vitamin C and other antioxidants are a critical component in any skincare routine. But maybe you aren’t sure why they are so critical, or how to pick the best serum for your needs, or how to layer your skincare products for the best results.

What is Vitamin C?

Most people associate Vitamin C with bright, glowing skin, but it does so much more than that! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin by neutralizing free radicals. You’ve most likely heard of free radicals, but what exactly are they and how do they contribute to skin damage?

Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage your skin. They can be found anywhere but are commonly caused by UV radiation (sunlight), pollution, and toxins, and are even produced by your own body. Free radicals are unstable because they are missing an electron. This causes them to frantically try to stabilize themselves by bonding to other molecules thus creating oxidative stress, leading to skin damage that appears as fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin, dullness, and dark spots. Vitamin C and other antioxidants neutralize free radicals, counteracting their harmful effects and leaving your skin looking brighter, smoother, and more supple!

TiZO’s Advanced Vitamin C + E Serum is packed with three powerful antioxidants – THD Ascorbate, Vitamin E, and Ferulic Acid – along with Bakuchiol. This fine mixture of ingredients helps firm skin and visibly reduce the signs of premature aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, revealing your natural radiance! Our triple Antioxidant formula helps defend the skin against further damage by neutralizing those free radicals we just discussed.

Let’s talk about our ingredients!  With all the Vitamin C serums available, how do you pick the best one for you? Look for a serum that has what it takes to deliver fabulous results, without creating harshness or irritation!  Here’s how we approached the challenge:

With an 18% THD Ascorbate formula, this serum provides a stable form of Vitamin C. On the other hand, Ascorbic acid, which is the primary form of Vitamin C used in many other
formulations, oxidizes with light and air exposure, so it loses efficacy over time. So for us, using THD was a no-brainer. Plus, it’s lipid soluble so it seeps into the epidermis easier
where it can get to work!

Ferulic Acid is naturally found in bran, oats, rice, citrus, and apple seeds and helps to boost the effectiveness of Vitamins C + E.
y
Vitamin E potentiates the actions of Vitamin C, working synergistically to limit chronic UV damage.

Bakuchiol is a unique, up-and-coming ingredient in the skincare world. Derived from the psoralea corylifolia (babchi) plant, bakuchiol offers the skin benefits of a retinol, helping to
improve texture, firmness, brightness, and visible signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. The best part – it does all this with less irritation than retinol!

Where and how does TiZO’s Vitamin C + E Serum fit into your skincare routine?

The answer to this depends on what other products you regularly use! But remember, you want to apply your serums from the thinnest (least viscous) product to the thickest (most viscous). Our serum has very low viscosity, so it may easily be the first product you apply after cleansing.

After cleansing, place 4-5 drops in the palm of your hand. Using fingertips, apply to your face, neck, and décolletage. Use once per day in the morning or evening. When testing new products, we recommend you start with use every other day to let your skin acclimate to a new addition in your skincare routine. If you are using a retinol at night, we suggest using this product in the morning or alternating retinol one night and the Advanced Vitamin C + E Serum the next.

As you can “Vitamin C”, TiZO’s Advanced Vitamin C + E Serum is packed with ingredients that reduce signs of premature aging, leaving your skin appearing brighter, smoother, and firmer. But don’t just take our word for it, “Vitamin C” the difference for yourself! Ok, we’re done with Vitamin C puns...for now.
